Claude Paolucci (they/he) is a New York City–based theater artist originally from Long Island. A writer and actor drawn to the abstract, peculiar, and experimental, Claude brings a precise, objective presence to their work, making them a rare blank slate for directors to sculpt. Their ability to transform into any being, animal, or inanimate object is grounded in over a decade of dance training, allowing every movement to be intentional and exact. A graduating senior in the Pace University BA Acting program this May, Claude is eager to step into the expansive world of performance art.
A little more about me…
Claude’s theatre career started in 2011. Their breakout role was a sadistic captain of a ship. They even lost their baby teeth at rehearsal, and would dangle their bleeding tooth to scare their cast-mates. From then on, Claude would continue to perform yearly, committing to the bit each time. The stage became a haven for Claude, a place to creatively scream. From their piano concerts, to their church choir days, to the first time they put on pointe shoes, Claude is a performer through and through. It has been a privilege to train in so many different disciplines, and they would like to thank their family for supporting them endlessly in their work.
